This should either be an item you rarely find in space encounters, or something you build from the Architect's Table. This item should work like the Pixel Printer, but allows you to create food you've already made once before from the recipes list that's unlocked in your collections table. It'd feel like Star Trek that way, and it'd definitely make making rare recipes a lot less annoying. You'd still be able to make food the traditional way, since I know a lot of people find getting the ingredients to be fun. Maybe there could be some kind of effect which inhibits the mass use of this, like a very long cooldown that's some kind of sickness from eating food replicated this way? Which wouldn't prevent you from having to make normal food.
