Forest Battle 2 is a Remix? [Spoilers]

Are these two songs related?

    When I battled the Ruin, I heard the most dramatic song I have ever heard (also if you want to play it someone has actually made sheet music for piano, score!). As the song got stuck into my head, I realized I had heard music almost identical to it.

    It was called Heart of Courage by Two Steps from Hell.

    The chorus/main tune/part that gets stuck in your head (can be heard at 0:42 of Courage) is pretty much the same. This makes me think that Heart of Ruin aka Forest Battle 2 is inspired/based off Heart of Courage.

    Of course, Heart of Ruin is vastly different from Heart of Courage. They just have the same melody. Maybe it's just a coincidence, and those notes just sound inspirational.
