Well, lots of people are used to the Home button (on the bar at the top) to be... well, the home page OF THE FORUM, not the home page of Starbound. So I thought, that maybe we could have a separate home page showing off things and stuff, like the TO home page?
Question. What exactly would having a Forum Home Page and a Real Home Page accomplish? Just curious why you think we need both if the main sites home page accomplishes everything and more.
Things like art features. News about the forums specifically. Later, adventure map/tutorial features.
all of those will be on the homepage of the main site. There really is no differance to useing the home page feature of XenForo or a custom one, other than the custom one isnt limited by any standard means. Dont worry, you will get all that info on the homepage just fine. Remember, it is not our job to copy what others do exactly, but take what we learn and make it into something even better.
