Game crash at launch on Steam : Unable to create source reader

    Hello,

    I just bought the game on Steam but I get a crash at every startup : the game window opens but stays black, and an exception message appears immediately, saying "Halley has aborted with an unhandled exception: Unable to create source reader".

    The crash happens in both DirectX mode and OpenGL mode. I have embedded example log files for both modes as OpenGL seems to have more information.

      Heya, this is an issue with our intro on your machine unfortunately.

      If you right click on Wargroove in your steam library, select properties, then ' Set Launch Options' and type ' --skip-intro ' it should stop the crash from happening

          I have this same problem but -"skip-intro" does not help.

            Heya, are you typing the launch perimeter correctly? It's two dashes in front of skip-intro
            If that's not working could you please send your log file, found in AppData/Roaming/Chucklefish/Wargroove
