Bug/Issue Game crashed after using Gatling power-up in Journey of the Prairie King

I was 2 levels away (I think) from my first victory in JotPK, on the second screen of the third world, and I'd been graced by the presence of a Gatling Gun power-up- just the thing I needed to cut through the mounting horde of mummies. About 1 second after I activated the power-up and started shooting, though, that oh-so-dreaded popup appeared: "Stardew Valley is not responding". So close, yet so far. I waited for upwards of 2 minutes for the game to start working again, but to no avail.

So TL;DR, the game froze indefinitely when I tried to use the Gatling Gun power-up on a bunch of mummy enemies in Journey of the Prairie King. This was less than ideal, to say the least.
