HAHAHAHAHHAHA, YES, ALL MY HOPES AND DREAMS HAVE BEEN REALISED. *does a victory dance* Ok less excitement

    A Scarlet Dawn:

Creatures came from the starry night
Men who are not like thee
Twisted creatures, ghouls of darkness, beasts the make you scream.
A great falcon rose and fought their stride
    Aided by mountainous men
Together they fought, day after day, until the falcon forced into flight
One last battle, one last strike, caused the beings to slumber
There they stayed there they hid, slowly gathering their number
    Next came two eagles bold
They sought the help of a dragon old
Men of steel and troops of valour
    Gathered beneath their mighty banner
Forward they charged for the enemy's heart.
    An army dedicated to cause
A mass to give the worst enemy pause.
The battle raged and they fell by hundreds
Yet the eagle's fell by thousands
The men of steel to their ghoulish gaze
The dragon to their endless blades
The battle was lost, it is true
But real hope they did renew
The falcon had been watching close
And the mountain warriors were encouraged most
    Strange people, white as bone
Joined them in protecting their home
    Great black men of stone
    Pirates with sparking hoods
And machines that could build what no one else could
Against their hope, nothing was done
The enemy left, one by one
In times before, the people had quarrelled
    But the quarrels troubled nevermore
What of the evil beings you say?
Did they not fear them every day?
Really they were only portrayed that way
    Looking for a home
Though he stars they had roamed
The falcon saw this and bade them stay
The bond between them grew ever stronger
    Enemy's they were no longer

    Sallok Writer:

A Sallok sits alone at night
He carefully considers his horrible plight
He watches the dark that sucks him in
He can find no possible way to win
The writing stops, there is no shout
No one pauses as his soul winks out.

    Summer Red and Winter Blue:

    Summer red and Winter blue
How I long for each of you
But when you come and stay a day
I only wish you'd go away.

I meant to add this here earlier, better late than never!

    A scholarly fellow is he,
Spending almost as much time as could be
Sitting at a computer, researching wide
His book of knowledge bursting at the sides.
He may have an idea of how to create
But he lacks inspiration, what he feels is check-mate.
    Many overcome this crippling condition
But just as many fall into perdition.
Creativity is the lifeblood of him,
But his bright mind tends to dim,
Many times he is left to his own devices
And he knows fully well how to escape his vices
But the pull of other professions and the risk of his own
Keeps him stuck with what he has sown,
A cycle of waste, time thrown away
“I’ll get to it, maybe some day.”
He’ll say to himself, knowing it to be a lie
Because everything he’s made is much too shy
So he keeps shut away from all
And until he flies, he is doomed to fall.

Life, like a dagger slathered in poison vile, drove into the heart of the living, twisting a turning,
the barbs and snags ripping the heartstrings,
when finally removed with a happy sigh, the bearer is released of all burden, all pain, all care.
But there is power in the suffering, knowledge that a hope may just exist.
They say knowledge is power, so therefore the pain of life is the greatest power one can have
    The power to simply live.

Managing to sucessfully keep up rhythm without a coherent, structured rhyme scheme is quite a feat in my opinion - and a feat I very rarely am able to accomplish.
    I like it :)

Tell me, love, of that which rests,
    Upon your lips, upon your chest;
How wicked a sorcery your heart pertains,
a wickedier world of love me pains.

At sunrise I took upon my soul
A vow of vows, so sacred, old:
My heart to beat for you until
it proper stop'd, in silence still'd.

Midday came, and with it you,
My angst forgot, like morning's dew.
    Embracing, naught to us remain'd
Of shadow worlds, of deceit so faint.

Then came upon me that evening tide:
How you wronged, how you lied,
    Restless, lost, in thoughts alone,
Left in dark your sins to atone.

By dusk upon that crippling sky,
The sun, my love, he heard a cry:
So sickening it was, that cry, to him,
hide, did he, by cloud's veil dim.

This is what happens when youre bored with your study project, hahaha!

    Arra The End of Time

On a cold December morn, I leave my home, happy, full, contented, off to do my chores.
Animals fed, animals watered, I shrugged off the chill. The low south winter, slightly warm, only just a chill.
I head inside for lunch, savoring what's yet to be made. A strange uncanny chill, I fail to dissuade.
I put on an extra layer, and throw another log into the hearth. Waiting for the chill to disperse.
The cold doesn't leave me, I shake my head and laugh,
“Tis but my silly mind. "
    It wasn't.
I cannot shrug off that chill! That morbid damnable cold!
This morbid chill freezes me! Freezes me to my soul!
Its frosty claws, raking round my mind!
Leave me be, let me lie! You morbid damnable cold!
I hear its voice in the wind! I hear it in the ice!
The morbid cold is in my eyes, I cry only ice!
    It is.
I finish my meal, looking at the log I've just thrown on the hearth. Strangely I'm still cold.
Another log in the fire as I crawl into bed.
    Yawning, frost in my breath.
I wake in the night, teeth chattering like a machine.
Another log on the hearth! Another! One more!
I sit in front of the fire, yet not gaining it's warmth.
    It can’t.
    THE MORBID DAMNABLE COLD!
Leave me be! I beg of yea! Just let me experience warmth, if only one more time!
Lord in Heaven! Do you not hear my cries?!
I weep and tear at my flesh, frost filling the wounds.
I feel snowflakes on my cheeks, I hear a blizzard roar, I see frost fog my vision.
I look up at the snowless sky, its grayness mockingly still.
I look and weep. They skies indifferent, the Earth cold and still.
Why has it chose me? This morbid damnable cold?

Poetry, huh? I guess I can show some of my work. Here's the most recent poem I've written.

When darkness falls and the light ends,
I will return to you, my friend.
When all is lost, I will find you.
So hold on tight, we'll get you through.
    Here tomorrow and here today,
I'll save you now, show me the way.

I'll hold you close and hold on tight
and we will stand. This is our fight.
We can't give up, courage will hold.
Winter will come, we'll brave the cold.
It will be hard when the dark comes
but you'll shine bright like burning suns.
When all is lost and it's the end
you will not break, you will not bend.

Life's not easy you're just stronger
so hold on tight, hold on longer.
Never give up, never give in.
We'll keep fighting and we will win.
Straight through the end we'll hold on strong.
We'll find the light. It won't be long.

This one is a bit older, you wouldn't believe how long it took me to make it fit the sonnet formula.

Grievously, all life must come to an end
But for me, life comes to end much too soon
However, the rules of death I must bend
Because this life is much too great a boon

Throughout my life, I’ve come to realize
All should make the most of time they’re given
No living man can avoid his demise
Knowing this, I have kept myself driven

Now with the end that’s on the horizon
I sit with my peers for one final time
I give this advice hoping they’ll wisen
For certain, this is the end of my line

Whether I go to heaven or to hell
I will hope that I have done this world well

It sounded so much better when it didn't flow like a sonnet, I'll have to dissect it some time.
