Like the title says, I found this on the StarBound site, checked it out, and really liking what I've seen in the trailers thus far! Definitely gave this the thumbs-up on Greenlight! Did have a question though, will the game be 'open-ended'? Or will it be like Harvest Moon for the SNES, where you have approx. 3 years in-game to get everything done (run a successful farm, have a spouse, etc.)?
You can get another player as a spouse and the cavern is said to be 100 levels deep with different biomes in certain levels I don't think there's any time limit, so, open-ended most likely.
Yep, you can keep playing on your farm as long as you want. There will be a loose story that resolves after two years, but it doesn't end the game.
Just went through the description that I finally got around to reading on steam, yeah, this game is definitely on my "must buy!" list!

Hm..maybe more than 2 years? 4-5 years should suffice Would love to see a long storyline, authored by CA himself..or someone in his group xD
I think 2 years sounds about right, although it depends on the length of the seasons and the amount of time in a day.
i think it should be 3 years honestly becouse it sounds more...idk alot of things are done in 3s 6s 7s 12s never 2 x-x
