((Since the only terminal I remember in-game is in Halo 3, I'm going to use that.)) The terminal brings up a long list of logs. One of them will probably give you an answer. The armory has probably whatever you need. It is fully stocked with Rocket Launchers, Sniper Rifles, grenades, etc. ((It's 36. I might have messed up and put in 38 though.)) It will probably end soon. You see a light above the door currently on red. It is fairly dark. You can make out what seems to be a bunch of parts. You also see a dim glow on the other side.
Cody smiles, and begins searching for a DMR and a Railgun, maybe a bubble shield if he could find one. the DMR to use as anti personel, and the Railgun for disrupting structures and vehicles.
((Okay, inner OCD kicked in and that burned at me..thanks for clearing that up)) He stays towards the side and just waits it out.
You find a DMR, but no railgun. You could use the Rocket Launcher. Eventually there is a buzzing sound and the light turns green. The door opens and out comes a few SPARTANS. Under a bunch of spare parts, you find what seems to be a weapon crate. There are some plasma pistols, carbines, and plasma rifles. And a box of grenades. This doesn't seem right. The log says it has been 100,000 years since you last checked. The log is filled with some maintenance reports and normal reports.
" Wh-what? B-by the Mantle is this a glitch...Ancilla...can you rectify this? " Vistar looks confusedly at the screen of the terminal, heart pounding.... Wh-where.....where was his mentor? He has...well....recently got over his brevet mutation....
He takes a pair of plasma pistols and leaves the rest, making sure they're concealed before he replaces the parts and checks the other crates.
It's not a glitch. 100,000 years have passed somehow. You come across a SPARTAN who looks experienced enough. He is wearing some black and orange armor. You find a few other weapons and grenades. Otherwise, it's just parts. Looks like they were trying to hide them.
He makes sure to put everything back the way it was before carefully making sure nothing's waiting for him on the other side of the container door.
Vistar holds his hands against his ears " IDIOT IDIOT IDIOT! YOU ARE SUCH AN IDIOT! WHY DIDNT YOU WAKE UP, OH, I DUNNO, A DAY AFTER! " If he had legs, he would crumple to his knees, screaming...funny though...using an old builder insult on himself
He walks up to him, his rifle held on his shoulder nonthreateningly and taps his shoulder with a finger.
It doesn't look like anyone's is waiting. Everything is back in it's place, too. You must have been in stasis for some reason. There isn't anything you can do about it now. Unless you have a time machine. "Yeah?" He turns around to face you.
"Alright. What you do is you fight against other SPARTANS to capture certain areas and destroy their base. You can also fight against Covenant or Prometheans in a team of 8. There are also a couple of other things, but I don't think anyone is doing those today."
