Have Not recieved updates, Can you Manually install them?

Hi! I don't know why, but I have not recieved any updates for my copy of stardew valley. I'm not sure if its because I lost my account information to steam or what, but is there a way to manually install the updates ? What should I do ? I've made multiple google searches with no luck. Hopefully someone here has some insight on the issue. I want to be able to go to the night market and do multiplayer so bad !
