Oh we got a pretty nice place, it's kinda expensive though... we're just kinda trying to stick it out another year and then maybe leave this tiny town we've been stuck in there's like nothing here haha it kinda sucks tbh

 

hiyo folks! things are stressful for me still.

i got an evaluation letter of my mental health needs from the NHS, but the numbers they used in the evaluation were clearly wrong - there's no way i'm a 0 for 'needs help socialising'. they said to appeal and we did, but since they didn't actually fix the wrong numbers before they did the second evaluation, it was an identical result. the letter said i could try appealing to an independent something-something, but mum decided she's going to apply me for another form of benefits instead of fixing the problem. >.<

also still no inheritance bonus yet :c

 

How was all of your thanksgivings and Halloweens?

 

A good, fun meal with my family. It's rare to hang out with both my brothers, it's always fun.
Also I decided to buy a new computer over Black Friday/Cyber Monday, this'll be a very nice upgrade.

And Halloween I guess happened. It was absolutely no different from any other day for me, except Fate Grand Order had some fun events with it. (I now have 6 versions of Elizabeth Bathory!)

 

For me I didn't celebrate thanksgiving for the first time, because french people don't celebrate it, but I still had some chicken and mashed potatoes with Lodi and it was nice!
Did miss the giant meal my family makes every year though lol, but I prefer to spend time with my husband

I've been doing alright, all things considered

 

hiyo pokes! i'm doing okay, part of my inheritance arrived and i spent it on ice cream and a big magic plushie dragon! i also managed to sign up for Universal Credit, a different type of disability benefits. i'm not sure if we've done all the paperwork and meetings yet, but the first two payments already arrived! it is less than my previous benefits, so we are looking into it still.

mum became ill a couple of days ago, and now i have a bit of a cough. might be flu or covid, hopefully we'll be fine though.

good news! we appealed to a independent something-something (tribunal) and they said it was completely wrong and they will restore my benefits and give me money for the missed months :O
also i ate a whole tub of ice cream!

Am doing good! started playing Monster Hunter Rise with Lodi again. We stopped playing it a year and a half ago because I had to go back to Canada to renew my visa, and then we just never got back into playing it until now
We're looking forward to Monster Hunter Wilds whenever that comes out

it's a magic plushie for adventurers only. it breathes confetti and makes party blower noises. when it lands after a fall, it squeaks and when it air-dashes it makes a ascending xylophone noise c:
