ummm there is a problem, you know animals have X and Y? Plants don't really have thous, fact is that is they have T which they really both male and female and their pollen thing cover with ...err white thing, the little swimmer only commanded find the eggs and go though it, the plants do not have an egg which the little swimmer have noise to smell female's egg, the seed doesn't have scent of smell even they find path to the orb thing, the swimmer is going die there because the orb is really not pose to break its hex shape and the orb will die because it can't get the spores into it system.

Even thou u use the male plants side to the female human, the spore is not able go though cuz they don't have cells to swim...

In that meaning, we can't take a plant's DNA because they have whole lot different constructor cell not leading to human's DNA even thou we use planets to heal ourselves, it doesn't mean that we "animals" which this will produce only animals to animals (I don't know about reptile or birds that lay eggs) to seeds or spores, it is impossible that would work. To the meaning to the picture, x and y can't survived without each other, T will kill it and cause no breeding.

 

I know it pose to be sci-fiction, but they didn't want fantasy stuff like this...then you have to make plants into one male and one female.

 

Sounds good to me. But they're an Asexual race... so that kinda negates all this.

 

No they aren't, they're just an unisex race. They still need two to reproduce, it's just that each one can do both jobs.

for the truth, you could rip one out because they have spores, then turn that little spore holder around then they can do it right there...Made me think about south park how did fatty's mom...awkwardness of thought that its he and she able produce..."WTF" moments.
