Modding Help How to patch a mod to make certain recipes admin only?

There are a few mods where I want to remove being able to craft certain things (mostly in the inventor/engineer table) and was wondering if it's possible to make a patch that makes those recipes only available with r/admin? I tried to look up the basics of making patches but don't have much modding experience.
