    Mine isn't too long, just good enough for a short animation. My friend's is a long ongoing story that I'm planning on doing a comic for, and maybe animating a couple cool scenes.
    IT will be difficult, but worth it, methinks.

    Give it some texture (The belly section especially). It's a lizardman, try some subtle scales in there.

    Yeah with characters who have scales it generally helps to take the time to do the scales, but not spending an insane amount of time on them because it CAN take forever.

    Do you not notice the subtle custom scale brush I used? Too low quality I think... Maybe it would work did I had access to my computer and uploaded the file itself instead of uploading to imgur then downloading to my phone and then uploading here.

    The lighting said otherwise, scales are slightly reflective so there should be individual highlights on the bright part.
