I think I broke Journey of the Prairie King minigame

Alright so, I finally got, for the first time, at the last level of this minigame in Stardew Valley, where I think I was supposed to battle the boss at the graveyard's last stage. Thing is, as a last boost from the previous level, I got the lighting strike which turned me a zombie, and when I got to the boss stage I pounced directly on the boss as a zombie...Well, now the game isn't doing anything, there is no music playing, the Boss dissapeared and it seems I most likely killed it, no winning no nothing, and I thought it would be fun to post this one experience here ( ´∀｀).
Anyhow, if there are more ways one could break this little minigame or if any of you had any funny experiences while playing this, i think it might be fun to share. Lesson learned not to pounce on the boss again without it even finishing his dialogue I guess (゜-゜).
