I would like to write a story taking place in the universe of Starbound.

I was wondering where the best place to write it would be? I want people online to be able to give me feedback after every chapter, and I also want it in a place with other Starbound stories and alike, because doing it on the normal forum would be waaay out-of-place.

 

Maybe the Fan Fiction part of the forums is what you're looking for.
Another alternative can be that you write a story on a site like FanFiction.net, and then make a thread on the forums where you place a link to your story.

I'm pretty new to this kind of thing too, but hope it helps

 

There's also archiveofourown.org (commonly called ao3) - another site dedicated to fanfiction. Many writters have accounts and post both on FanFiction and Ao3 at the same time, but many prefer one site over the other.
