Its cute little eyes looked softly at me, and i stood in disbelief what a cute little creature here all alone, i wondered if it had but a home? i knealt down to help it, but it shyed away, and i figured id help her On christmas day turning around it followed me home so decided to keep it my own and on the day of christmas eve there was a terrible peeve in the midst of the night was a terrible growl so I walked out of my room equipped with my cowl, the creature stood there with blood red eyes, and whispered softly "you're going to DIE."

The staff decided to put together a little present for all of you guys! Welcome to the Winter Holiday Contest! As you would expect, all entries in the contest have to be holiday/winter related. (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Years, etc.) Please note, Doomsday doesn't count as a holiday. ...and Starbound related, of course! That was in the original thread.
Like I said. I didn't catch the Starbound reference. Maybe make it less oblique? Then again, maybe someone else figured out it was a Poptop. Guess you could wait for more feedback before making a decision.
Poptop poetry is wonderful indeed! If I may, I would like to suggest that you separate your poem into stanzas. It will make it easier to read and help make your ideas distinctive. Good luck in the contest!
