Install SMAPI/CJB Spawener on Mac????

    Hello, all!
    I'm new to playing this wonderful game, and so far loving it!
    I was gifted the game for Mac via Steam a few days ago, and am already halfway through the winter of the first year.
    As much as I love the game as-is, I'm also a huge Mod-It-To-Death person, and love adding custom content to whatever game I'm playing, (like many of you!)

    So anyways, I'm a bit stuck...
    I have no problem adding recolors and things that I have downloaded, but I really want to use the CJB spawner and cheat panel after I've "beat" the game once.

    The problem:

    The Mac Version of the game is installed via Steam and already runs flawlessly, so I don't want to have to uninstall and try to tamper with the Wineskin Wrapper.

    I have a 2013 Macbook Pro, running OS X El Capitan (version 10.11.6)

    I really want to use some of the awesome mods that are out there, but they all seem to require SMAPI.

    Does anyone know of a way around this that doesn't involve running the game through some sort of emulator?
