Bug/Issue Ipad+Dualshock4 controller=no running

Hello.

I run the game on my Ipad pro (game and os are up to date - march 22 2020)
Using a PS4 controller in wireless mode. Connecting works without problem, immediately recognized by game, but:

I cannot figure out how to run. There doesnt seem to be any mapped button for it.
This makes the game basically unplayable.
(to clarify. i am able to walk. both digital pad and analogue stick work. but i cannot run)
The option to configure the controller in the menu is greyed out, so i have no way to remap the buttons either.

is this a known issue or am i just too blind to figure this out?
