He pulls the grenade from his pack and throws it down the street.

The sonic grenade lands with a clink. Killik doesn't hear anything, but apparently some of the zombies do. Enough to make a hole in the crowd.

 

Killik runs through as quickly and quietly as he can, Wrench in hand in case a zombie gets to close.

 

Altair does the same, fortunately for them, the zombies are pretty slow.

 

He continues through the back alleys, making sure there are no zombies nearby.

 

((Sorry for no reply yesterday, I was busy. I'm trying to get a job and stuff.))
Depending on how close nearby was, there were always zombies nearby. But there were no zombies in the alleys for some reason. Did they just hate alleys?

Killik continued down the alleys, still heading for the tower.

 

He came across another crossing, this looked to be the last one before the tower. However, it was also the most crowded.

 

Killik looks in his pack quickly. "I'm out of noise-makers, maybe try the roofs?"

Andrew creeped slowly towards the door

 

"Sure, that's a good a plan as any."

Though Andrew creeped, the door did not. It was a door.

 

He climbed up a nearby fire escape, using random piles of rubbish to do so, then made sure Altair could do it.

 

Now they stood on top of a roof. There was still a gap full of zombies, they were just above it now.

 

"Maybe we can drop some of this roofing stuff on the zombies on the right, so the others will go to the noise and we can go back down again."

 

"I don't know. It's pretty crowded."

 

"Do you have any explosives we could drop on them? Maybe kill some of them off?"

 

"No." she replied pointedly.

 

Andrew reached the door and placed his hand on the knob. He took a deep breath and flung it open.

 

"Hold on, if we unscrew the fire escape we can make a bridge across the street!"
