Hey, I'm working on a broadsword that is very large. And I thought it would be cool to have the player support the weapon on his shoulder during his idle stance. I have been able to achieve that much, but what is rather unsightly is that when I face left, the sword covers my character's face. So I was wondering: does anyone know how to keep a weapon on the "background" hand--or, perhaps more accurately, have it switch hands--when the character turns?
Afaik there are main and offhand, not foreground/background. I've seen "zLevel" variable in combo animation files, that's drawing order in my understanding, depth, if you will. However, i dunno how to change it depending on direction. Maybe some custom script based on weaponscript to use instead of weapon.lua? These are all theories however, not backed by any real experience
