Melon is my main Starbound character. I've been playing for years, though I don't play for months at a time. The goal of Melon Project is to "100%" the game. I mostly just explore. Last year I decided to start sharing my finds in this thread. So they kind of go together. I've also made a spreadsheet to keep track of my progress. You can find it here. So why is this in screenshots you ask? Because I'm going to share screenshots I take as I continue my journey. I take a screenshot for anything I find interesting or funny or similar. I have a lot taken and have shared many in the Starbound channel in Chucklefish discord. I'll start off with 2 older ones. Tiniest ship ever! It's floating! Expect updates on my progress along with many more screenshots as I go! Current outfit: 2 Stop Teleshop NPC wig, Protectorate Vest, Ripped Jeans, Shawl of Elation. Four new items added to the spreadsheet! Total of 72% finished now. Time for some more screenshots. Some are old and a couple are new. Tiniest island ever. Two systems with 9 planets. And a system with 8 planets. Thought this was funny. Desert right next to a snow biome. This system has 1 planet and a gate. Current outfit is: Gnome Cap, Protectorate Vest, Ripped Jeans, and AA Battery Pack.
Haven't played much lately because I've been mainly focused on D2R. I made a correction to the OP. I vastly over-estimated how much I've played Melon (forgot about /played command). The correct amount is 255 hours. Anyway, here's a couple more screenshots.

Phew boy I've made a lot of progress! Did some pet hunting and got lucky finding some other collectibles. We're up to 76%! Play time is now 275+ hours. Lots of screenshots incoming. The two crates in front of me both had a Sassy Beret in them. Thought that was odd. Finally found one! First time I've seen a station like this. Thought it was kind of funny. Longest system name I've seen so far. The floran is standing on the gate! Didn't even know that was possible. First time I've seen this. Other things of note: I found a blueprint I still didn't have. Not sure how many more I don't have. Finally over 5m pixels. Almost 1000 diamonds.
Made a lot progress lately. Did a bit of pet hunting and now have all normal pets except the parasprite. I've changed the OP to add some fun stats. Here's a few more screenshots. First 1000 diamonds. Two systems with a ton of planet types.
Been playing some again. Progress continues. We're now over 79% complete. I've also added current outfit to OP (which will be updated when I change it) as well as stats for teleporter cores found. Remind me of a winter's night when the snow is falling and everything is peaceful and quiet. It's hard to see but there is a tree right below me in the lava. First time I've seen it.
Been playing some Starbound again. Updated first post for new stats. We're over 84% for completion! If you look close you can see the torch and eye are clipping through each other. Starbound is set in the distant future with all sorts of amazing technology. So of course there's an iron lantern here.
