Meteorite Energy Shields: The Mod: The Game!
With the inclusion of meteorites in the game, the denizens of the galaxy realized that their precious homes were in danger of being destroyed! The best minds of each race came together on various worlds across the galaxy, in pursuit of a way to save their fragile habitats from destruction from above.

This mod will show the result: Meteorite Shields!

How This Works
The Meteorite Shield Generator is a Tier 3 recipe conferred by the Portable Pixel Printer. When you use it, you will automatically acquire the recipe for a Meteorite Shield Generator, which is produced for 50 pixels.

Placing a Meteorite Shield Generator places an emitter which generates an invulnerable energy shield six tiles above the emitter. This energy shield is impervious to damage; you can even walk on it! It won't disappear until the emitter is mined or destroyed.

wouldn't it be better to just have an option server side to turn off meteor strikes in most building games any disaster scenario is a user preference. even in the sim city games Godzilla never showed up without being enabled by the player ?
