The title pretty much sums up my request. I'm not exactly sure how complex/difficult making such a mod would be. I would absolutely love to see such a mod and I'm sure many other players would too!
the "pants" sprite is part of characters/farmer/farmer_girl_base so its technically doable. 18 animations.. 6 frames each.. yup. *technically* doable.
this would be great, i love skirts do you know how jealous i am of women for dresses and skirts? well, i could wear a summer dress too, but it would look stupid xD
ironicly, until the 17/18 century (i think) it wasnt that unusual for males to wear "dresses" and make up.
i think so too, high heels where once "men"-shoes AFAIK i DO have a goth skirt though and i have to say it's VERY comfortable gonna get myself a black kilt too eventually^^
I would love this so so so much but as the general consensus has already determined, it'd be a lot of work. Plus, you'd have to affix leg sprites to the skin-colored portions so that they are colored properly with the rest of the character's skin.
Oh, oh wow I would love this. If I have more time then I like I'll take a crack at it, especially if someone'd cleanup or critique my amateur spritework. If I see a man in a sundress, I certainly don't think he looks stupid, so instead of being jealous, go for it! Or don't, as you like; but you should certainly enjoy wearing what you wanna wear, at the very least around your own house..! Do you know with certainty if it's just that, or if any other objects in farmer_base override anything? I'd hate to make an optional retexture and then have it be half of a long skirt/dress, suddenly warping into pants...
I hadn't realized that you could change your shirt at character creation (my brain was elsewhere) so I'm stuck with a girl in overalls.
Awww I want a skirt so bad. ;_; Maybe someone can use Haley's or Penny's sprites and make a base from it?
the pants part fo the sprite are on the right side of the image. right above the underwear ones. because underwear use ur pants colors too. i know for a fact pants overrides body. but no idea if shoes override pants, because the sprites dont overlap. the other thing to consider is whether the skin part of the sprites will need to be extended to areas that pants cover but skirts dont. good news there is the bath sprites have the full body bad news there is the bath sprites dont have the full range of animations.
