Modding Discussion Mod Request! Monster Pets keep up and don't constantly run back and forth!

While having a monster pet is great and all, I find it kinda sad that the monsters I've caught were just... taking their sweet ole time catching up to me as I run ahead. And while I'm idle or while they're tethered, they just constantly run back and forth and never stop. I'd be nice to see them just stop, sit down and chill for awhile!
