I believe I fixed the problems with spawning in midnight biomes. It's been stealth-updated for months now. I've just been really busy and suffering from depression. Critter items also have rarity now. I have a nightly version of this mod ready to go for when Starbound updates, although it will be missing some features (right now you can't catch any of the new critters in nightly capture pods.)
The nightly version will be almost the same except you'll have to use a special, new net, and the there are a couple of new, rare butterflies based on real world animals. The nightly version supports net-catching all the new vanilla critters (except for the ones on the last mission. Haven't gotten around to them.)

Will you be bringing your mod to Steam Workshop?

 

Eventually, when I figure it out.

 

The mod is great, love to have more ambience and diversity, but i really think that there should be an alternative more vanilla style frindly, with less noise/color/gradients on the camel and bear and using only 1 pixel eye like the rest of the critters.

I really like the concept of this mod. And I'm quite tempted to install it. The boulders and other little additions to biomes, alone, entices me to try it.

But, personally, I find several of your unusual "super-rarities" like Chocobos, Moogles, Kefkas, Temmies, Sans, and Papyrus to be immersion breaking. Those I either find instantly recognizable or which I don't feel like fits the Starbound universe. (The Sans and Papyrus are humanoids. Those and the Temmies even wear clothes, making them seem sentient.)

Is there a possibility that you would consider releasing a version of this without the ones I mentioned as immersion breaking? Just a thought, but it would be appreciated.
