Bug/Issue Multiplayer Glitch

Whenever I try to join an existing Multiplayer game it switches into windowed mode, and when I try to switch it to fullscreen, everything is zoomed out to the point where it hurts to look at. When I try to zoom back in it says it's already at maximum zoom and won't allow me to change anything. Has this happened to anyone else? I am not hosting the game and everything is normal until I try to enter the invite code.
