Bug/Issue Multiplayer - Wallpaper/Flooring Roulette, now with crash!

Whenever my husband and I start up our game, our wallpapers and floors are either reset or shuffled around, i.e. my kitchen floor is now my bedroom floor, and the upstairs bedroom floor is now also the living room floor, and the kitchen has reset to checkerboard. What's worse, with today's update if I open the catalogue to choose new ones, as soon as I click on one, the game crashes. I tried it twice with the same result, and included one of the crash logs.

Playing on Linux Mint 17 (host) and Ubuntu 18.04.
