Traditional My char!

I coloured a picture of my preferred char. She's Floran, and I was too lazy to scan it but I might get around to that later if anyone's interested. I like colouring and I have a drawing tablet, so if anyone has suggestions I'll probably draw/sketch it. Idk if that's a thing here but I'm no good at thinking of things to draw, so hopefully it is haha.

Here's hoping this doesn't get buried!

Nice drawing - and I especially like the look of her! Floran are my preferred race, too and this one could right go into the game.

 

Thanks! The only difference I made in her is that she has a slightly less green hue in the game, which I altered because her skin colour was very similar to her leather pants and I didn't want her to be nekkid. Also her legs are a bit stubby and the game-her has proper proportions haha.

As a side-note, she's called Dirtdancer because I'm terrible at thinking of names (I hit random till I liked one) and I figured that one was accurate for a Floran.

Thank you! I might do that, but I'll probably do it digitally. I didn't like the colouring pencils I used and I'm too lazy to go searching for good ones.

Aha, well... I guess if I want something to look sort of natural then I'll use a base colour (e.g green) that's a bit lighter than I want (so lighter green) and then shade it with a deeper version of that (closer to the green I'm looking for) except for in the areas that would have shine or highlights, and then do the shadows in either a greyer-version of the base colour or an opposing colour (e.g a reddish brown in this case). Other than that I just use colour theory I guess haha. Also I add a warmer or cooler colour (maybe yellow?) sometimes, depending on what it is I'm colouring. Usually hair or plants or something. I'm not really sure what to say

Thanks! I tried to make the Cultists' sword look vaguely like the Cultist sword on the wiki, but curved swords are my max capabilities atm lol. I need to practise sword drawing o3o

Sure thing chico. Two things tho: 1. I'm in HK at the moment without my tablet so it'll probably be done on the weekend, and 2. I'm confused about the Orange bit and I think I'm missing something xD
