Bug/Issue My character disappeared

So I played starbound and electricity in my house switched off. When I come back to game my character disappeared. I google the problem and found a small solution like u can rename bak files and u got ur character back. But its ur old character, all my stuff that I got today are gone. Any solution for this?

its a running issue with a number of topics now having the same problem myself included...i want to play but realy dont becouse of this issue
