Morning everyone. I was wondering if anyone had the time, if they'd be willing to create a mod of my dog, Cinnamon. She got cancer and we had to put her to sleep yesterday...it'd be comforting to me if I at least got to play with her still in SDV. She's a very pretty golden retriever mix, and I think people would like the look of her sprite regardless of whether or not she's based on my dog. Omg Im so sorry for your lost honey. I've been here before with my bb Cheyenne in 2004 ;w; Losing an animal is just the worst. I loved Cheyenne so much even to this day. I would love to make the sprite for you at least! I'm a pixel artist, so I can at least make the sprite, but i dont know how to put it into the xnb file..

Until someone does it better -- copy this into your Stardew Valley/Content/Animals folder. The front view is the one that I could get the most similar. Back up the original dog.xnb file in the folder somewhere else if you want to be able to easily revert.
This is very sweet. I can definitely see the resemblance. Watching her sleeping peacefully is so nice. Thank you. Edit: the tail wagging animation is rather hilarious. Idk if this was on purpose, but her ears jump up and down in time with her tail moving haha.
You're welcome! I tried to get it as best I could, but I'm not a pixel artist. Glad it looks okay As for the wagging... that's a byproduct of me not testing it for long enough haha. Should be fixed by moving the ears down a pixel on the wag sprite.
Tbqh, I do wish it could be a tad darker. She's more of a rich Hershey's brown. But the resemblance is still there, well enough. In the very least, I will happily use this one while others work on their versions. I can swap them all out haha.
