Confused. Why would a creature made of flowers/plants hunt for meat? Educational. Floran should be getting energy from sunlight.

because they're active and spend too much energy, the mere sunlight energy wouldn't be enough for them to walk and do various things, the sunlight is just a bonus. If you're interested there's actually a type of Slug that can feed from sunlight, but it's not enough for it to live by the sun itself
