Bug/Issue Nothing Unlocked Post Double Trouble

Just completed Double Trouble with my friend in online co-op on switch. It was absolutely fantastic, and we really enjoyed playing it. However, nothing for Wulfar, the Twins, or Vesper was unlocked on either of our switches. I looked on the forums and reddit and couldn't find any help with the issue. We want to play arcade mode with the new characters now that we've beaten the story.

Things not unlocked: arcade mode, lore for characters

Things unlocked: Received the stars for winning the double trouble battles

Issue is present on both devices and in both games. I can send you the online game code if that will help you solve the issue. Let me know if you need any pictures.
