In your quest files for novakidtutorial2 and 3 you have an id of "felintutorial2.gearup" and the same for 3. I assume this was a mistake, but let me know if it wasn't.

Just grabbed the update, this size is much nicer!
Getting a CTD after the loading screen though, which is earlier than previously. I'll take another peek around.

 

And i just patched your problem. that might've been why it was crashing.
CTD?

 

Crash to desktop. I get "Error: VariantException: Improper conversion to VariantList from invalid" and then it immediately closes. Not sure what's doing it yet, still playing around. The newest version is with the updated codex, right?

I also get these two sometimes.
Error: Access violation detected at 0xa556bd (Read of address 0xf0)
Error: Stack Trace...

Novakid has no armor or ship.

 

It needs armor? oh.
Well. if you could make their ship the humans, i'd appreciate it. ans just send me the file. i'll upload it

 

Ship is not necessary if your universe_server file is set to one of the existing ships, aye?

 

Not positive if armor is required, but the folders where there so I figured you forgot to include it or something.

 

Found my CTD issue. You dropped the interface folder altogether. Here's a zip of the stuff you need in it.

 

The two sfx files you have are .mp3. They need to be .wav. Other than that, I think I have a fully working build. I'll try to convert those two files and then upload it.

Here's a working version. I couldn't get the two sounds you included to work, so I copied over and renamed the human ones. So far it seems like it can be played normally.

 

Same. I couldn't even play them as-is. I think they're blank.

 

I couldn't get VLC to play them, but Audacity was able to play both. It some kind of quick buzz or something, so maybe they got corrupted at some point?

 

Well, they are like 3 KBs. I didn't expect a long drawn-out moan or anything.
