Now, in this suggestions area, I saw a lot of ideas for a lot of spacy, whacky, fantasy creatures. But do you think that normal animals should be included, too? Or would they ruin the whole "fantasy/SciFi feeling"? You could get stuff like meat, milk, hide, eggs and so on and so on from them! Also, the ohmygod-effect, when you see an unknown animal will be bigger if you saw a lot of normal animals before! Or meeting normal animals, could even be turned into somewhat of an achievement! When there are Gazillions of planets and you finally find a planet that resembles earth and has those simple animals, wouldn't it bring a smile to your face?
By what ive seen there are already normal animals (penguins,deer,lizards,etc.). There are also different kinds of that animal like the alien and turtle penguins seen on the homepage which will create that oohmygod effect like you were talking about.
totally approve with that! also you can get your favorite animal, and tame it or cross it if some breeding system will be implemented
