Editing this because I feel like a major a**hole. While I still find it annoying that platforms now need plant fibers to craft I have come to realize that we also get more in return. My sincerest apologies to the devs for lashing out about he difficulty spike. I think survival mode did increase in difficulty from the nightly bit like posted below I can play casual mode. I just like survival mode bc you actually need to eat but there are mods that add that to casual so I will live. Keep up the good work Chucklfish!
Thank you. I edited my post above to reflect how much of an idiot I feel. I lashed out about something so trivial before doing any research. Most likely the product of a long day at work. My apologies. I loved survival because of the need to eat but have since discovered a mod that enables that for casual mode.
