The most recent Dev update talks about where CA is at in terms of development. No mention of a beta there, though. I'd like to see one. I'd definitely purchase early access through Steam if it was made available - I'm not just eager to play, I'd love to test it out and help improve the game if possible!
Agreed! Harvest Moon is one of my favourite series' and Stardew Valley really gives me a sort of multiplayer HM vibe. Cannot wait.
I think one thing we can all do is spread the word, really get a hype going about the game because it deserves a lot more attention than it's currently getting. If I see anyone speaking about HM I always tell them about Stardew Valley. I think as more and more people get interested it will also motivate ConcernedApe tons because people are getting into the game
I don't really think that CA isn't motivated - he's just one person working on a fairly complex game, so of course it's going to take a while! I would probably buy early access on this too, just to support him, though I probably wouldn't play it until it was done. Unlike Starbound (which I already have EA for) this is the kind of game I'd want to be complete before delving into it.
I agree, this type of game doesn't seem like it would lend itself well to early incomplete release. I hope CA doesn't feel that pressure too much.
