Alright, but I just wanted to show ya Also, what art program do you use? I'm stuck with paint . net atm.
Paint.net is pretty good for pixel art I find. For drawing, I use a program called FireAlpaca. It has a correcting feature so my wobbly hand isn't as obvious.
Sorry, no colored, shaded stuff this time. I've been working on speed drawings. So, I've been on vacation all week and on wednesday I became determined to try to figure out how hips and legs work. After 3 days, I'm making some progress: Still a long way to go, yeah. I've had this sketch sitting around for a while, but here's a cruddy retrace of it: Being a mother can be hard: Here's a kineptic in a swimming pool (and some floating heads). Apparently they don't have a problem with water. And finally, a kineptic in a nightgown commonly seen on a certain kitsune:
Considering she had them all at the same time and deals with this on a daily (or hourly) basis, and having another litter would prolong her time as a mother of young kittens, I'd say she's refering more to that she's not going to have any more kittens. She's putting serious thought into getting her tubes tied.
Little chubby kitty legs~ And suddenly, a quantum leap in quality: Left shoulder didn't get the memo that it was "wear shoulder padding to work" day.
Holy crap, Quil, you've gotten even better! Your artwork absolutely astounds me. (BTW, you should totally look into updating Avali Augments)
your rate of improvement is astounding. Absolutely gorgeous, and so quickly! You will just keep getting better and better, and it's already so great. c:
Okay, two more to round off my vacation: I think I made good use of my week off. I feel like I should take another off. Get some more advanced poses in and such.
I'm beginning to wonder if this thread really belongs under fan art. While I am a fan of starbound, and the stuff I make resembles art, the kineptic aren't inherently starbound. @rhomboid , if you think this thread would be better suited in the off-topic art board, please feel free to exercise your modliness. Oh yeah also drawing: Sometimes I forget layers are a thing and have to manually erase the guide lines, and fail at it. Pretty eyes:
Nice work! You're getting a lot better than me. Also, if you want a custom background for your drawings, I can try that. I'm pretty good at those.
Eh, I think since you've made a mod it's fine. There's plenty of Starbound mod art around, as Oddbrother mentioned, so s'all good. I'll boop @Dunto just in case. o3o
Pose feels a bit stale, but I've been in a bit of flux lately. Trying all sorts of different things, trying to adapt those things to fit with other things, etc.
I don't play TF2, but there was just something about that "Meet the Pyro" video. Something... I don't know, I can't put my finger on it... Oh right. That's what it was. Background not included.
