Many mods you have in the list thre, are you sure every author is okey with you doing this?

 

ill get the approvals if they complain, besides isnt this like advertising anyway

 

Either way, im gonna be making this modpack, even if i wont post it on this website ill post the compilation on my twitch channel

 

If you say so If you look at some of them they have set their mods to have persmissions before someone do what you have done, atleast give them credits

 

Alright, will be making 2 changes:
Each mod will have its author behind it as in "by ThaOneDon" for example.
Next version will have its filename "S3r1ous Starbound Mod Pack (2.2.2014).7z".

Watching Masters of Sex Season 1, when posting this. Its positively tickling.

 

Just as a mention about the filename change, instead of a date, a game version number would be more useful, so you dont need to crosscheck the date and game version to know whether to use this pack or go look for a new version. Especially if you find this pack on the harddrive in the future and dont remember if its still fresh or not.

Btw, in case people complain about the permissions and delete this pack with a big "no-fun-allowed" sign, can you post a link to that twitch channel you mentioned about above, the one you'd post updates to? I'd totally grab the newer versions of this pack, regardless of permissions or not, since its about me having fun with the game above anything else.

But still, do indeed add a readme.txt file where credits are listed for each mod's author, incase we want to see what else they made.

I can't download pack; move for Mediafire or Mega (upload). It's better than Gamefront. And it's normal when I download the pack, I open and I don't have anything on ?

One of the reasons why i packed it with 7zip was to conserve size for the future, since the Pack keeps growing each day. I can use Winrar since people having problems
unpacking it apparently . What we will lose then is the size. Ill upload 2 archives then. One 7z and 1 RAR. 7zip alpha seems to keep uncompatible with some archivers.

Ill get it on mega then in the future.

I don't think you need to be so negative about this. All we (Starfoundry) ask is that you respect the stated terms of use on the mod page and get permission before including mods in your pack, and make those same terms clear to your users. It only takes a simple message to ask permission and most authors will probably grant it (like we have!) but it's a little insulting to OUR hard work that you didn't even bother to ask.
