    Just a little idea I thought I would toss at ya. You could add something like them old time movie time warp effect, from them old 50s movies. That would add effect with out the moving parts an still look like a screen change effect. I all so wanted to add that It is really nice that you would make a mod just so people with epilepsy or motion sickness can play and enjoy the game more. It's nice to see that some people in this rushing fast paced me me me world still think about others. Good look'en out Brah :)

    Thanks for the input! As for creating a new warp scene, I'm afraid there isn't much I can do. I have the ability to change the speed of the warp and the sprites used, but not much else.

    Thanks for the kind words. I figure that since I have the ability and a bit of free time, I may as well try and provide some help for those who would like it.

    Does this mod work for multiplayer? In other words, can I have this mod while others keep the original effects? It's not that important as I only play with family/friends and they'll be fine using this mod too, I was just wondering.

    As far as I know, it should be entirely client-side, so your friends won't be affected. However, if they are affected, for whatever reason, please let me know.

    Saw the mod today, i didnt install it, i dont need it but i think it was a great idea for helping those with problems. I think the Devs should have had this idea long ago. Great job!

    hey,i got an idea!

    i'm not sure if this is already in the mod,but why not remove the teleportation animation (the one when you're loading the planet) because i've heard about people having epilepsy cases,not to mention EXTREME lag,even with the new one (a little bit)

    There WAS a mod that did this,but didnt work,and then deleted from the author...

    This Mod seems like it would have something like that,if its already in then just ignore this post and tell me

    Currently, this mod only tones down the teleport cinematic.

    I've thought about removing the cinematic entirely, but I'm fairly certain it functions almost like a short loading screen. The whole time you're teleporting, the client is loading the destination in the background. This gives the client a brief moment to prepare a spawn location, saving players from having to see all the chunks load.

    I'll have to do some testing to see just how much of an impact removing the cinematic would have. For all I know, the game could function perfectly fine without it.

    It does function perfectly fine without it. The animation is an arbitrary delay that has no relation to loading time. If you load the destination instantly, you still have to wait X seconds if the animation is enabled.

    I'm not 100% sure this is related, but yours is the only mod I use - when travelling between systems I am getting this error message and the game crashes:
    Fatal exception caught: (AssetException) Path 'assetmissing.png' must be absolute
