Save File Deletion: No progress saved, ever?

    Hello!
    I just bought Risk of Rain from the Humble Store on sale and downloaded the game in a 'drm-less' zip file, yet, when I start the game up, it seems nothing is saved each time, including the resolution settings of the computer and the keybinds for the controls.
    Has this issue ever happened before? Is there any way I can contact a dev?
