    whitewizardg Yeah, You!

I just installed the game (gog galaxy) and I currently have 2 issues.

1- Resolution, it does not want to stay at my laptops native 1920x1080 resolution, it puts it into some 15XX-8XX one.

2- I have vsync on and I got a big line from the upper left of my screen going diagonally down to the right,

I also seem to be stuck at 119.3 fps no matter if vsync is on or off.

Do you have an integrated video card and a dedicated one? If yes make sure starbound uses the dedicated one by adjusting the settings.

If that is not the case you may want to provide more information about your machine then. Also attach your starbound.log

I have both, but Starbound is set to the gtx 1050.

I have an HP Pavilion 15 laptop,
    15.6" diagonal FHD IPS UWVA anti-glare WLED-backlit (1920 x 1080)
    Intel® Core™ i5-7300HQ (2.5 GHz, up to 3.5 GHz, 6 MB cache, 4 cores)
    NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 (4 GB GDDR5 dedicated)
    Windows 10 Home 64
    8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB )

I dont know where to find starbound.log

The starbound.log is located in the storage folder of your starbound install.

    whitewizardg Yeah, You!

I tried but got an error saying

    The following error occurred
The uploaded file does not have an allowed extension.

    starbound.log.1

I have 5 starbound.log files and all of them said this.

Ok so I managed to fix the screen tearing, I went into the nvidia control panel and set the max pre-rendered frames to 1. no more screen tearing.

The resolution is still iffy, when I launch the game it launches in 1920x1080, but once im at the main menu and i click a button, it changes to 15XX x 8XX
