Seeds destroyed when hitting them with a tool

Hello! After the beta update in multiplayer every time I hit a seed in with my pickaxe or axe they get destroyed instead of getting picked up. Not that annoying because I can still get seeds from chopping down trees but I hope it gets fixed. This update is amazing so far!!! Thank you for your hard work!!
