Boss Sheldion

This mini-boss can spawn shields all over the place that deflect everything!
The boss has nearly no health so if you get to him he is pretty much dead
but if you do shoot a shield three of those shots come back!
You cant walk through shields and if you melee hit a shield your sword/melee weapon
bounces back and hits you.
To beat him you have to shoot between his shields and hit him.
Shields last for 7 seconds before he makes more in different places!
Beating him will give you a shield generator for guarding your base.

 

I thought you meant Shieldon from Pokemon

 

Only problem is it seems that you HAVE to use ranged attacks. From what I understand, not all classes use that kind of thing. (EX. certain races might only use swords)

But good general idea.

Most people are gonna have jetpacks and the like, so they'll still be able to jump over them or run through when a shield disappears. Besidea, though, you'll still have grenades you can lob over them !

But its an easy mistake.

 

A nice idea indeed, but it confused me why you would put No! in your poll first.

 

Nice idea, but I'm not sure how it would work with In-Game mechanics such as different classes and stuff, like stated above.

 

Well people read no first and yes second so the last thing they read was yes so it sticks in their head a tiny bit longer.
(I actually have no idea )

 

Then you'll have to jump 'round the shields!

 

I thought of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory to be honest . And I love annoying bosses. I imagine a giant robot with no emotion simply generating shields and dodging attacks. RAGE + 10

 

Its not giant its actually the size of your character.
EVEN MOAR ANOYING!!!
