Bug/Issue Ship Reset?

i recently installed the More Crewmembers mod, but it didn't seem to work - despite only having a tier 8 ship, i couldn't recruit more than 12 crew members. thinking it was just useless and harmless, i left it like that. however, after my game crashed while trying to beam to the Grand Pagoda mission (i was revisiting), upon reopening it i found my ship completely bare. all my crew was there, but all the furniture, blocks (both foreground and background), and items i had put in the ship's locker were gone. the locker had four cans of food, ten torches, and a flashlight, as it does in the beginning of the game, and the barriers of hazard blocks were over every section as if they had never been removed.

any idea what's going on, or how i could fix it?
