Couple quick notes: Everyone has already been hired for the job by Captain Sam (hence the scene with her looking over documents of her crew, though admitably I may not have been entirely clear on that). So, everyone at least has passing knowledge of the Captain and the crew (though that doesn't mean they recognize everyone aboard just yet). The idea is that Captain Sam has been traveling about picking up crew for a while, and this is just the last port she's stopping at before the journey (and she allowed the crew some shore leave for the festivities). Second, on an unrelated note: @Skelozard1 that shade of yellow is a bit hard to read with the new forum layout. While colors are fun and add a lot of character, it's important to ensure compatibility with the two different forum color schemes (which goes for everyone that's considering colors).
Oh okay, so we have already been on the boat we all just went off to do a last minute of celebration, it won't be the hassle of finding it the first time but just finding it in the brazen drunkenness .
Just so it doesn't look like I'm trying to be partial or anything: Captain Sam, being an individual, has different attitudes for different characters. For example, she's a bit more amicable with people who are adventurous, but disagrees with recklessness/needless endangerment, and holds reservations toward people who seem less experienced joining her crew (especially for this mission).
That's why I said they're huge. About the rifle, someone dropped it, I don't know but that's what I was trying to "say" xD
Hey @TΔktik , @Skelozard1 's character is speaking to yours. It'd be best if she responded in some way. --- Post updated --- Okie doke, somethin' weird's happening with these posts. Basically, Romeo is trying to speak to Karana. TΔktik might wanna make some kind of response there.
Is it there aniway I could quit the roleplay? Like, don't get me wrong, I'm actually having fun with it but I don't feel like I have the time to participate in such thing and many posts in the roleplay post are written like in 3AM? At least where I live So... yeah, it's kinda hard to be always actualized about what is happening with the RP and I can write a "excuse" for leaving, like, Beaky is afraid of the travel or Cap. Sam doesn't want him, something like that so it doesn't feel like an harsh leave. Is this fine to you @Vurrunna?
@Vurrunna (better tag bomb him) @HunterC1998 @Roland Weiss @WarSarah @ProbablySomeOneElseWhosNameIForgot Are you guys still here? (Edit) And about my delays in posting, I was traveling and unable to post frequently. Sorry for not mentioning that before I left.
Apologies for the delay; I've recently hit some sort of apathetic funk where I diddle about all day doing nothing productive. Must be somethin' in the water... Anywho, I'll get back on the RP in just a tick. That's perfectly fine; we're early enough in the game that a character slipping away unnoticed is relatively simple. If you change your mind, you're still free to stay (posting time doesn't always have to be right away, as seen with my rather erratic schedule), but I won't hold you in if you'd rather step out.
I think that it would be better that way ^^ even in a few days I'll have to travel and won't have internet connection
Apologies again for the delay; it derives from a combination of waiting for everyone to get a chance to respond and a general nature of procrastination. Speaking of which, it'd probably help me to respond quicker if anyone who doesn't feel the need to respond (such as a character who simply decides to wait out a scene or observe an interaction) were to say so here in the OOC (or briefly describe IC). This helps me know whether I should wait for responses or if I should have moved on a few days ago. Right now would be a prime example--if anyone wishes to have interactions on the brief trip, they may. Otherwise, I can post the details of the arrival to the first checkpoint (just to be clear, the trip to Siren will be a good part of the journey). And on a completely unrelated note, here's some shameless self-advertising for a diddly doo: http://community.playstarbound.com/threads/kobold-adventure-an-interactive-journey.118656/
