"Yeah..I'm just gonna have a nap.." He simply leans into his chair more and pulls it to cover his face more.
Without moving he replies, "Hell, you've pried more out of me than my brothers ever have..surprised the pain hasn't started back up.."
"I can say from experience that it is. I haven't driven one, I'd probably crash it, but in the back seat, there's room to mount a gun. That was a pretty interesting mission."
Lucca raises her brow at this. "Yeah, that's one term you might use. Speed freak, daredevil, madcap; those might also apply."
Whyt snickers gently at this name."Ah...Chief is catching on..." She nodded in approval, examining Lucca briefly. While Whyt herself wasn't an adrenaline junkie, she could appreciate going fast now and then.
What Whyt would no doubt see, besides Lucca's obvious preference for the colour red, was the bruises on her face, and a cut on her lip. "Well, the other option was 'doc'; though I'm not sure he'd approve of that reference."
((Cap'n Sam in 3, 2, 1...)) Suddenly a door to the back of the room, adjacent to the large monitor, swings open, allowing the Captain to enter with a slight flourish and swagger. "Ah! I see nearabout everyone's made themselves accounted for--" she takes a seat at the head of the table, before immediately standing up again in one smooth motion, apparently brimming with anticipation-- "so let's get to it, me mates!" She goes to the right side of the monitor, flicking some switches on a wall-implanted console and bringing up images of the missions goal--the infamous treasure world of Siren. Most images are only scant, either from distant satellite with low resolution or fleeting clips from what few sorry souls escaped the innumerable told dangers of Siren. "As ye all know, we're headed out on a trip t'the 'verse's dangerous-est planet around--Siren." A grin splits across her face as she says the world's name. "No man, woman'r child who've been lacking enough in fortune to reach Siren has ever escaped her mystical clutches. Logic would dictate that we'd be bound fer the same fate--'ere's 'oping we've all enough spirit t'ignore logical thinkin', fer just a little while." She pauses here, looking over the crew and waiting for any responses.
Lucca raises her hand. "Yeah, it's still a pretty hard sell, Captain. Do we have a plan once we get there? You besides getting lost and dying; 'cause that'll be no fun at all."
"Yeah, landing on the most famously dangerous planet in the galaxy without a plan in mind seems like a little bit of a bad idea."
Whyt pats Phateon on the back at this, beaming towards their eccentric Captain."Yeah! I'd hate t' lose the Captain mere seconds after touching down on the planet.."
Will takes a look at Phaeton from under his hat and then back at Sam, "Getting clingy on us already chief?"
