RELEASED Siv's Marriage Mod [NOW OPEN SOURCE]

So uh, I'm an idiot & have no idea how to patch this in despite looking at a video that shows how to use CP. I kind have no idea how to figure it out after a few tries...>_>

 

Patch what in, exactly? To use Content Patcher mods, you need Content Patcher https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1915 in your mods folder.
Then just put the [CP] content pack into the mods folder. Same for [TMX]. Put TMXLoader https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1820?tab=description into your mods folder, and then put the [TMX] Content Pack into the mods folder. I do recommend that you get the most recent updates to Siv's marriage mod from https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/3054. It's now called "Looking for Love", since I intend to keep working on this and making it even better.
For example, I've found out how to add in characters to the festivals.

Every time I put it in my folder it never works. I got everything up to date & the Looking for Love mod but nothing happens.

 

Have you updated SMAPI and ContentPatcher? There was a recent Stardew Valley update that required you to update a lot of mods (though a fair amount have stayed compatible as well, since it's a minor bugfix/modder's wish list fulfillment patch) I can also provide live support over on discord (foggywizard#7430) if you want to DM me. Oh! Can you also link your Smapi log so I can take a look at it?

 

Yeah I checked, I even downloaded CP today & the new SMAPI yesterday. At best I kind of just deleted files then verified the files to replace them before installing because I didn't know which parts belonged to the old SMAPI

 

May I please look at your Smapi log? See if there's anything keeping it from working?

 

Is it the black box that shows up when you start up the game with mods?

 

No (well, yes, sorta, we're trying to get the saved logs from it), Your saves and the Smapi logs are found in appdata, the file path there will look something like this C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Roaming\StardewValley
There should be two folders there, one that says Errorlogs, one that says Saves. Go into the Errorlogs one. There will be a page that says Latest.txt there.
Drag that into the specified box here: https://log.smapi.io. Click "save log" and give me a link to the address it sends you to.

Looking for Love. Referring to titles in abbreviated form is a habit from writing fanfiction. Ok. [CP] Looking for Love is not in that folder. It needs to be.

That'd be why it's not working. You don't put CP mods inside of Content Patcher's mod folder, you put them into the mods folder in general, the same as you installed Content Patcher. Like this:

One last -possibly- stupid question but how do I get the younger Wizard sprites to be the ones used intend of the vanilla ones? I tried re-naming but doesn't work.
