Closed [Solved] GoG.com / Steam | Updates / Compatibility

Hello StarBound-Devs,

i bought the game a long time ago in 2013 i guess and after a couple of resets stoppted playing.
now that i read 1.0 is released i would like start playing again and also bought the game on GoG for my Girlfriend.

Now the Question is why are there diffrent versions?

GoG.com is starbound_2.0.0.2
Steam is Glad Giraffe Update 3

so i guess GoG is missing the last update?
I dont tried to join our server yet which is hosted with steam and always on the newest version.

So my Question is are the both verions Compatible or do i have to request a refund at GoG becuase it can lack in updates?

"2.0.0.2" is just how GoG names their files, and has nothing to do with the game's version. If you install it, you'll notice after launching Starbound that the real version is on the in-game menu in the bottom right corner. And it should be the same as the Steam version.
