Mob Space Battles

So i think if you are traveling to different planets on the way you can encounter space enemies

It would be cool if you can actually just drive around in your ship and find abandoned ships and then you can board them and you can find loot or special weapons and items and say a type of zombie in a space suit with a broken helmet and it can attack you but it can be different races like a zombie Apex or a Human they can drop weapons and space suits and stuff and you could maybe salvage parts and weapons and you can apply them to your ships

Another attack could be a fleet or maybe just a couple of spaceships will start to shoot at you this is where the weapons come in you can either attack them back or board their ship and kill them if you blow up their ships you can not salvage anything but if you board them an kill them all you can take items and ship mods to upgrade yours

And their will also be bosses and they drop better weapons and parts....

I might expand on this but i'm not quite sure

I'd think it'd be pretty neat to be able to explore an abandoned ship that may require things like a space suit to be able to breathe (since it may be full of holes and thus being oxygen-free).

Im imagining you travelling, and a ship approaches and boards your ship (relatively easy to animate) and something similar to a goblin army attack of terraria happens on your ship, perhaps only after you get to a certain largeness of ship (both because it seems a fair game mechanic and it'd be stupid to fight randomly spawning mobs on a tiny ship.)

 

Yes, yes PIRATES! Pirates are the key foundation of the universe! You should also be able to be a pirate if you want. Cause Pirates, are the pirate-yist thing around! And you can't say no to pirates. Because pirates will not allow you to say no to them! Pirates. Did I also mention PIRATES?!

Naw, I'm just kiddin'. But yeah, this is a wonderful idea. I've played FTL it's dandy as a daffodil aswell. I like the idea of pirates too. Also Pirate dungeons, space station encounters, an entire pirate fleet you can encounter. That'd be a sight. OH HEAVENS! I left my cookies on the counter. Goodbye!
