Outdated Space Edits v4.2

It's ok, cause I have my entire mod folder ziped up in a 7zip format.
Now this is without Space Edit.

Here is my current[without certain updates and removals] that I use.

 

Now what should I be on the lookout for? What were you doing when the game gave you your error?

 

just starting a new character and I got the error when it was generating the universe.

 

I literally did that with Space Edits and its sister mod with no issue. This character is... what, 7 minutes old? As you can see, no issue.

 

That is odd.
And you used all the mods I had in the 7zip file correct?

 

All of them. I just dragged and dropped. Even with DescriptiveFood.

Ok after a good game season I tried the two and I'm still getting the same error.

Hope this will help to figure out why it's crashing on me.

I see what's going on.

"Could not find starter system "

With the decreased star density, the chance of finding a suitable starter system is also decreased. Ive not ran into that on my own, so I didn't think of it before uploading. I know a possible fix, so ill get back to you on that. In the mean time, delete the universe file and try again. It should find one eventually, unless the FrakinUniverse mod changes the starter system requirements to somehing more specific, making it near impossible to find a starter world.

Edit: Doesnt seem to conflict with FU at all. Just a case of the star density.

I am now able to start over on a fresh new universe with all the mods I'm using.

if i ever finish my mod pack and release it officially, mind if i add your mod to it?

(i'll likely have to edit some files to make them work with my current mods if there are any incompatible mods > < i'd edit them for personal and local use anyway but i need your permission if i ever go official. so. zit ok?)

Good to know it's compatable with FrackinU, but what about MysteriousStars?

 

It should be compatible as long as the mod in question does not affect the overall frequency of stars generated in the navigation UI.
